This sculpture is for me an organic and playful representation of the earth’s energies rising. I initially had the vision to create this enigmatic piece and after I completed it discovered that such a flower, although quite different in form and colour, exists. I was glad to learn this afterwards as it allowed me the freedom to give it the form I wanted in black granite.
